Thank You for checking out my Blog about my experiences and new findings about Australian culture as I study abroad in Sydney for roughly 5 months.
I will depart to Sydney, Australia February 12th, but before I do I want you to know a little about me and my goals for this blog.
My name is Ryan Jana. I am currently finishing up my Junior year of college at Saint Xavier University (SXU). I am going for my B.A. in Mass Communications, double minor in Marketing and Art. I was born, raised, and current live in Midlothian, Illinois.
I am building this blog to better inform Americans, particularly my fellow students at SXU, about the differences between our cultures. In cooperation with Lambda Pi Eta, the Communications Honor Society (LPH), at Saint Xavier University, I will be using my extensive knowledge in Interculture Communication to inform you about our cultural differences as I study abroad.
My goal is to better to our cutlural understanding of the world. I intend to observe and experiment our differences in proxemics, interpersonal communication, etc. to accomplish this goal.
